Results:

This landing page was a success based as much on feedback from the clients as well as the number of fellows who successfully navigated the page.

Summary:

This landing page followed a common process of discovery, design, development, and launch (or destiny if you want to use another “D”).

The goal was to serve as a marketing level resource for our newest fellowship program. I met with the clients (internal department) weekly to determine needs, assess the available resources and content, and develop a timeline for completion.

After collaborating on a shared working doc through many iterations, I brought in the Comms team to review and edit. Eventually the content was ready for the build out.

The page was constructed using established post type modules that adhered to the overall HOH site design and branding. Not all content fits perfectly into those post types though. Often content customization is required using HTML and CSS.

During the Development phase, there is always a healthy amount of back and forth with the clients to ensure the intended message is still being delivered, especially when there is customization.

Overall, the team was happy with the results and the analytics showed a positive experience for users – bounce rate for the last year has been under 50% and time on page was healthy (+4 min).
